Bank Statement

What this module provides

Foundation module for the KitWorks Bank Statement Suite. Adds shared raw-data fields, a deterministic deduplication key and EDRPOU / bank-account-based partner resolution that every bank-specific importer in the suite reuses. This module imports nothing on its own — install at least one bank-specific importer module to get statement data into Odoo.

Category: Hidden/Tools. This is a dependency for the KitWorks Bank Statement Suite, not a stand-alone end-user feature.

Architecture

• Adds five raw-data fields to account.bank.statement.line: kw_bst_unique_import_ref (SQL UNIQUE), kw_bst_raw_partner_name, kw_bst_raw_account, kw_bst_raw_enterprise_code (EDRPOU), kw_bst_raw_mfo, kw_bst_raw_description. The original bank record stays attached for audit and reconciliation.
• Adds two monetary fields to account.bank.statement: kw_bst_balance_start and kw_bst_balance_end, separate from native Odoo balances and populated by API-based importers.
• Adds account.journal.kw_bst_import_format (Selection, extended by every child module) plus a kw_bst_auto_create_partner toggle.
• Provides res.partner.kw_bst_get_or_create: VAT / EDRPOU lookup, then bank-account lookup, with optional auto-creation of company partners and their bank records.
• Ships an import wizard kw.bank.statement.import that dispatches to format-specific parsers shipped by the bank-format modules in this suite. Adds file_import to _get_bank_statements_available_sources.
