What this module does
Restores the Data to Write page on the Run Server Action step that existed in Odoo 16 and was removed in Odoo 17. Brings back the explicit field-to-value mapping UI for record-write actions.
Data to Write page
Re-adds the dedicated configuration page on automation rules, instead of forcing inline Python expressions.
Field-to-value mapping
Pick fields, assign values, evaluate as static, reference or expression with the same UI as on Odoo 16.
Multi-record write
Apply the configured mapping to one record or to a full recordset returned by the trigger.
No code required
Functional users get the action authoring experience they had before, without dropping to Python expressions.
