What this module does
Technical building block for creating outbound API connectors. Manages base URL, auth credentials, request logging and error handling so each integration module only writes its own business logic.
Base URL and headers
Centralised endpoint configuration with a default header set, overridable per request.
Auth credentials
Stores and reuses API keys, bearer tokens or HMAC secrets in a single connector record.
Request logging
Pairs with kw_http_request_log to record every call with status, headers, body and duration.
Retry and error handling
Standard retry policy on 5xx responses and structured error reporting back to the calling module.
